TOP 3 WEDDING CEREMONY ESSENTIALS FOR A SYDNEY WEDDING

As the new year begins we reflect on the 300+ wedding ceremonies we were honoured to be a part of in 2025.

We saw a lot of different and beautiful weddings last year. From summer cocktail bar service at Sydneys favorite wedding beach suburb - Palm Beach to spring garden soirees at the Royal Botanic Gardens.

We’ve seen all the different locations, all the different Sydney weather and of course all the different requirements to make your wedding day run smoothly.  So take it from us when we tell what your wedding ceremony essentials should be for your perfect Sydney wedding.

  1. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH WEDDING CEREMONY CHAIRS

Lets remember why you’re planning this big day. So all your family and friends can witness and celebrate you and your partner getting married!

Weddings can be unpredicatable. It could be that the ceremony might start a little later than planned or perhaps its a scorching hot day.  We may not be able to predict our wedding day but we can prepare. So add enough guest chairs so you don’t have to worry about your guests aching legs during the ceremony.

No, not everyone needs a chair but its important to take into consideration their comfort so they can be fully immersed in your moment.

We have lots of different chair options to suit all different styles and budgets from white padded chairs, white bentwood chairs, wooden folding chairs and wooden benches.

2. KEEP YOUR GUESTS (AND YOURSELF!) HYDRATED

As we specialise in outdoor wedding ceremonies, a lot of the time there’s no nearby access to water. We highly recommend adding a LoveSick drink station.

We offer both self serve drink stations and wait service bars. This is a perfect option to stay hydrated especially if your wedding is in the summer and spring months. Its also a fantastic way to have a celebratory toast post ceremony with some champagne and beer and get the party started.

3.MICROPHONE AND PA SYSTEM

Wedding ceremony music is so important. The ceremony music helps settle guests before the formalities begin, its creates a magical moment for when walking down the ceremony aisle, joy during the ceremony singing and and of course celebration as you make your exit down the aisle! Music is moving and beautiful. Why not enrich your special moment with your favourite songs that  reflects you and your partners love and the unique couple that you are!

The other side of the PA speaker is the microphone. Guests want to hear your ceremony. All the unique moments in you love story, your wedding vows and of course the moment you officially become married. If its a windy day or a public space the words may get lost and what a shame that would be.

If you hire LoveSick Marriage Celebrant Carla Davern (who was voted one of the best Sydney marriage celebrants) she adds in a microphone and amplified speaker for free. So she is not only discounted when working with us but adds in this bonus essential!

In conclusion:

Your wedding ceremony will be special regardless of what furniture or essentials are included. Everyone is there to celebrate your love.

However, if you have a choice, why not make it that little more seamless with some tips from a experienced wedding supplier.
